Where are the releases? We have an upcoming release by a talented
musician (OrbicA) which we will not reveal just yet, so hold your heads. Also due
to the lack of updates we have been busy with our other project
www.unnamedlabel.com. Take a
peek if you have not already.
If you are reading this and you have sent us a demo or e-mail in the
past few months we may have not even been able to read it. Our e-mail
has been bombarding with demo's and spam since the end of 2008 and we
lost a lot of the them due to some issues.

In one month (June 28th), we may have to close our doors.
Due to financial problems, we can't continue to pay for hosting.
As much as we would love to keep this project going, and release music for free, we just can't do it ourselves.
Is it impossible to raise up the money? No. If we can make $170, we can continue I/O for 2 more years. The trick is making that much in less than one month.
If you like our music, and you want to show your support, please don't hesitate to do so. Even the smallest amount helps!
If it fails, we will put our releases on websites such as Archive.org and upload them via torrents. We will not continue to release anymore new material.

It's been a while since we've released something (or even made an announcement), but we're back online.

Artificial Horizon + (Plus) is a CD released by us at I/O Netlabel (CDR
division).
It will be the first actual, physical CD released by I/O.
The idea is while you can still download the release for free (at 128kbps), you have the option to pay for the physical edition of the album which contains full color print, etched design on the CD, extra tracks, downloads, etc. for about $12. Think of it as donations to the artist AND the label, since I/O isn't free to maintain and it helps the artists out.
More releases by other artists will come as well.

Here may be something you didn't know. Before the name change to I/O, the original name for the netlabel was Era Audio and called our website and community Era Audio Networks. Of course, the name didn't last long, just over a month, and we didn't get very many visits. We were lucky if we get 2 a day. The only albums that were released with the Era Audio name is the first two albums. On September 20th, we changed it officially to I/O Netlabel, and has been ever since.
